The objective is to band each part with the right color edgeband, and to make certain you edgeband in the right order (clockwise, counter clockwise are not options). On Cabinet Sides and Applied Ends, top and bottom first, and face last. For Doors and Drawer Fronts, the best method is typically sides first, then top and bottom (helps keep water from penetrating joints), but you may find special instructions on drawings or in Procedures on what order to band each part.
Second objective is that the banding has the right amount of glue, too much and glue will be everywhere, and buffers will just get clogged up, too little, and edgeband will come off.
ALWAYS run a test part first, and check adhesion (try to pull banding off), then check that top and bottom banding is trimming flush, and that end trims are trimming flush.
